Spirit of Gentleness Farm

 Alpaca fleece is the natural fiber harvested from an alpaca.  It is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fiber.  While similar to sheep's wool, it is warmer, not prickly, lighter and has no lanolin which means it is hypoallergenic.  Alpaca is naturally water-repellent.  At Spirit of Gentleness Farm we have Huacaya alpacas which have a soft fiber with a natural crimp thus making a naturally elastic yarn excellent for knitting.  Our alpacas are a variety of colors and I would like to introduce you to them:
